About Us

We Care (We Care – Global Online Learning Platform) is an educational niche blog/website related to health conditions, medications, medical tests and procedures, everyday health and wellness issues, microbiology, molecular biology, and biochemistry courses (from high school to Ph.D.). It was launched in May 2022 to provide study materials/notes that can be useful during exams.

Shova Shrestha (Founder)

Shova Shrestha

Shova Shrestha is a registered nurse in Nepal and Germany and the founder of an educational blog “We Care”. She holds a Post Basic Bachelor in Nursing (PBBN) from Purbanchal University and Proficiency Certificate in Nursing from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. She completed three years course as a nephrology specialist nurse from Germany. Before moving to Germany, she was a Nursing Instructor at Narayani Medical & Technology Nursing College, Hetauda, Nepal, from April 2011 to December 2013.

She moved to Germany at the end of 2013. In November 2014, she joined Dialysis and Nephrology unit, where she has been working to date. She applies techniques such as hemodialysis, hemodiafiltration, peritoneal dialysis, and other specialized treatments (such as lipid apheresis and plasma exchange). Additionally, she is responsible for mentoring new intakes and Arteriovenous (AV) fistula (vascular access) management in patients, and hygiene management in the workplace.

Since October 2018, she has been working as a unit incharge. She upgraded her knowledge by attending training in AV-Fistula sonography (ultrasound-guided puncture), Kidney transplant, emergency management, pediatric nephrology, quality management, hygiene, diabetes, nutrition, and research methodology. She attended numerous seminars such as the HD Workshop “Therapiesystem 5008” in Heidelberg, Germany, MONET-Workshop (with DALI) conducted by Fresenius Medical Care, in Sankt Wendel, Germany, a seminar on the application of Immunoadsorption in Hannover, Germany, Hygiene supervisor in nephrological care in Ulm, Germany, 6th Hygiene and Infectiology in Dialysis, in Mannheim, Germany.

She is passionate about disseminating knowledge about healthcare systems, thus empowering people to live healthy lifestyles.

Dr. Ram Prasad Awal is a highly experienced researcher with a strong background in microbiology, molecular biology, synthetic biology, and pharmaceutical research. With over 10 years of hands-on experience in the field, he has solidified his expertise in his respective domain. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Awal has contributed significantly to scientific knowledge, having authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in prestigious, high-impact journals. His research expertise lies in the areas of molecular biology, bacteriology, natural products research.

With a proven track record of successfully managing projects and meeting critical deadlines, Dr. Awal demonstrates exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail. He excels both in independent research and in collaborative, team-based environments.

In addition to his research achievements, Dr. Awal is a skilled communicator, possessing excellent oral and written communication skills. He has actively participated in various speaking engagements and presentations at conferences, effectively conveying complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.

Dr. Awal’s passion for microbiology, bacteriology, research, innovation, and science education is evident in his work. He is deeply committed to advancing scientific knowledge and promoting the importance of scientific literacy. Kavita Gajurel completed her Master in Nursing (Child Health) from Bir Hospital, Kathmandu, Nepal, affiliated with the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS). She has more than 16 years of experience as a nursing staff, nursing inspector, and nursing officer in different departments of government hospitals in Nepal and clinical nursing instructor. She is interested in Child Health, Neurosurgery, Critical Care, etc. She has got different professional training opportunities, such as Skilled Birth Attendant (SBA), Pediatric Nursing Care, Mini laparotomy, Comprehensive Abortion care, Emergency Care & Management, critical care, Burn Care & Management, Critical Nursing care, Research Methodology, etc. She is always ready to share the knowledge gained in her career.


Deepti Sharma (MSc. Nursing, BSc. Nursing)

Deepti Sharma has done her Master of Science in Nursing (MSc. Nsg) in Community Health from Banglore, India. She is registered nurse in Nepal. She has more than five years of experience as a senior nursing incharge and nursing instructor.


Roshika Devkota (BSc. Nursing)

Roshika

Roshika Devkota is a registered nurse in Nepal. She did a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc. Nursing). She is working as a nursing staff in a hospital for two years. She has working experience in different hospital departments. She is always keen and enthusiastic to accept the challenge and very passionate to share the knowledge that she gains.


Anika Dahal (Ph.D. Scholar, MN, BSc. Nursing)

Currently, Anika Dahal is a student of Ph.D. Nursing (Second year) studying at Lincoln University College, Malaysia. She completed her Master’s in Nursing with Adult Health Nursing specialty in 2017 from Chitwan Medical College. She has worked as Nursing Officer for 2 years at Nobel Medical College, and as a nursing lecturer for 2 and a half  years (Manmohan Memorial Institute of Health Science, Kathmandu, and Nobel Medical College, Biratnagar). She is indulged in different research projects, has published various research papers as author and coauthor in an indexed journal, and has achieved a couple of grants in research projects. Basically, she is interested in health research and wants her career as a successful research enthusiast.


Rejina Maharjan (MA running, BSc. Nursing)

Rejina Maharjan is a graduate student in gender studies at Tribhuvan University, Nepal. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from India, Rajiv Gandhi university of health science. She has more than three years of experience as a nursing staff in the endocrinology and neurology department. She has also work experience in the pediatric endocrinology department and diabetes center, USA as a virtual assistant.


Jyoti Shrestha (BSc. Nursing)

Jyoti Shrestha is a registered nurse in Nepal. She completed her BSc. Nursing from Gandaki Medical College, Kaski, Nepal. She is currently working as a post-op nursing staff in Teaching Hospital, Maharajganj, Kathmandu. She has also gained experience in an intensive care unit.
